Program Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
Students may use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

This qualification is delivered over a period of 1 year (52 Weeks).
Course duration:
This will include 44 weeks of training and assessment spread over four (4) study periods of 11 weeks each and a total of eight (8) weeks of study break periods interspersed between study periods.
Have successfully completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
OR,
Have a minimum of two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role within an enterprise.
These requirements ensure that students have either acquired the necessary theoretical knowledge through formal education or gained practical expertise through hands-on experience in a professional setting.
For international students, meeting the English language proficiency requirement is essential. These language proficiency standards ensure that international students can effectively communicate and engage in their studies at ASBT College.
The accepted minimum language proficiency scores are as follows:
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
International: IELTS 5.5 with a minimum 5.0 in each band, or equivalent TOEFL iBt 46, TOEFL PBT 527, or PTE 42 or, A minimum of two (2) years of study at an AQF Level 4 or higher completed in Australia.
At least 18 years of age at the commencement of the course
To attain an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, you will need to complete a total of 10 units.

Graduates of this programme may pursue careers as Executive Managers, Director Managers, or Senior Executives in Human Resources (Strategy).
They would access a wide range of industries, including financial and insurance services, health care and social assistance, and public administration and safety, in positions ranging from clerical and administrative positions up to professional and management roles.
